This fall, SafeAmerica is planning more for ‘VET Tran.’ And, were pleased in a meeting with a retired executive, Dan Valentine, that’s considered a way to help veterans. In a conversation with SafeAmerica President & CEO Len Pagano, Mr. Valentine talked of his experience in working with veterans now… and his original task as he worked in the military.
“We’re proud of Dan… and getting more advice on what we can do to help veterans,” Pagano said. “We look forward with others, also – like Johnny Barrett, Jim Skinner – for doing more good… as we plan to partner with the American Legion/Post 201 in Alpharetta.”
Pagano added that other volunteers – Dan Carfang, Terry Defore, Bryan Lewis and Joe Margolis – are offering more ‘good.’ He noted that more meetings will be planned… with a new ‘SERVE Team.’ And, added that AT&T IP CEO Scott Frank discussed this week on doing ‘good’ with a new app for volunteers who need rides every day. Another conversation – with MARTA – will seek ways to offer discounts on Metro Atlanta bus rides… or on a MARTA train that could help transportation, also.
To plan for more female veterans, SafeAmerica is also planning ‘She Served’ and its Founder, Martina Schmidt. More on VETV… and social media videos on YouTube’s SNN channel (or hi-lights on LinkedIn).
