This month, St. Ann’s Catholic Parish – in East Cobb County, Georgia – is joining in to help SafeAmerica’s VET Tran. Thanks to 6 new volunteers, SafeAmerica is starting to drive veterans to medical AND mental health.
“It’s great to see what St. Ann’s Parish – and its Knights of Columbus – are offering,” noted CEO Len Pagano. “Thanks to Dan Carfang, we’ll be in touch more with other parishes and work to take men and women (veterans) to recover from stress or physical issues.”
Pagano also thanked Highland Rivers Behavioral Health Foundation for deciding to use SafeAmerica’s VET Tran to transport their own medical and mental health clients. A meeting soon with CEO Melanie Dallas and Kathleen Varda will strategize how to plan VET Tran weekly for their customers. In the same time, other non-profits are also invited to ‘join in.’ To partner with SafeAmerica (for a non-profit or a firm to be a sponsor), you can call Len Pagano at (770)-509-7958 or also call Dan Carfang at 470)-462-8245.
A NEW Team Leader: Terry Defore, our new Vice President managing our fleets, is also helping advance our ambulances. You can also learn how Terry will be driving pregnant (veteran) women to health care. For an ambulance ride, call Terry at (404) – 707-5925.
