In a conversation over Sunday, CEO Len Pagano met with GA State Senator Houston Gaines… and discussed how to do an event on Sept. 11 in the GA State Capitol. Mr. Pagano discussed how to plan ‘ABOUT the Future’ and help veterans who are homeless. More plans to raise grants… and how Senator Gaines was asked to ‘help’ in the GA legislature. More, also, was discussed about building a new ‘HOME Front’ for homeless veterans… and could Athens help, also? Perhaps. And Senator Gaines will evaluate how there could be a grant with SafeAmerica… which also is working a series of veteran non-profits… like Johns Creek Veterans Association (JCVA), American Legion Post 45 (in Canton) and also the ‘Cherokee County Homeless Veteran Program (CCHVP) which Founder Jim Lindenmayer has been planning… along with SafeAmerica.
More on September 11… with GA Dept. of Veterans Service Deputy Commissioner Kerry Dyer… who was invited. And, other former veterans… like Alpharetta’s Commander Tom Billings in Post 201, Ambassador Roger Wise, Jr. and a series of other Board of Directors.
