Thanks to former Colonel Michael Mizell, the SafeAmerica Foundation is building a new program called ‘VET Serve,’ to help coalition non-profits and businesses to help save the lives of 95,000 homeless veterans.
This fall, Colonel Mizell held meetings with SafeAmerica CEO Len Pagano – and added members of the John’s Creek Veterans Association (JCVA) plus his new non-profit, Colonel’s Cup. Together with Col. Mizell, other non-profits have joined in – with the American Legion/Post 201 in Alpharetta. Other non-profits that are sharing interest to help are: the VFW, VETBUDS, American Patriot Village, Warriors 2 Citizens plus the Roswell Rotary Club.
Together with Commander Tom Billings (who runs the American Legion/Post 201), SafeAmerica has planned to host a ‘Leap Forward‘ conference on December 14 in Alpharetta. The plan ahead: build the coalition that will raise millions – and help ‘donor advised fund’ (DAF) to help individual non-profits that can do their unique tasks.
“We’re proud of how Mike Mizell started this conversation – and now we’re doing some impressive work,” noted SafeAmerica CEO Len Pagano. “Together with Commander Tom Billings and the American Legion/Post 201, we’ll engage more for-profits to help – and have veteran organizations ‘coordinate tasks’ – will make this a better future for those who fought in Vietnam, Afghanistan and other portions of the world – where they were making us safe.”
SafeAmerica plans new ‘sports events’ to help raise money. And, will also honor firms with 2023 WorldSafe Awards and host a gala dinner. To attend, contact Steve Mason at (813)-368-0012 or Cherry Ho-On at (770)-973-7233.
