SafeAmerica is helping veterans… and doing work with the VA to help homeless veterans get into a ‘new site.’ This May, SafeAmerica’s COO – Mary Lou Pagano – has been helping female and male veterans. And, SafeAmerica is also chatting with a series of people… and veteran non-profits to see what can be done to help the homeless.

“We’re proud to have been applied by The Home Depot’s Foundation – and we’ll supply a grant application this fall,” noted SafeAmerica CEO Len Pagano. “We’ll also seek to raise more money for other veteran non-profits – that have wanted to partner with SafeAmerica.”

Pagano noted that the GA Vietnam Veteran Alliance, American Legion/Post 201 in Alpharetta and Cobb Collaborative are 3 of the non-profits we are seeking to help. He noted there are more – in Cherokee County, also – and are partnering to help Cherokee County Home Veterans.

A series of volunteers (in the photo) are helping veterans. And, we’ll seek MORE volunteers who can call (770)-973-SAFE. Or, if you’d like to make a donation, click into:  https://safeamerica.org. (you can also look on VETV to also make donations… and more reports we’ll be uploading soon).

Memorial Day is coming… and will honor American heroes who have served. We look forward to more over the summer… and will do more for women who are veterans… and also have difficulty to get into a new apartment or home.

Our thanks to Cobb EMC Foundation which has also supported SafeAmerica’s VET Tran. We’ll look forward to more conversations… and seek a joint meeting this summer.
