The Cobb EMC Foundation has been applauded by the Safe America Foundation for its providing several grants to help expand our VET Tran transportation this spring. Thanks to its Foundation executive, Helen Wilson, and her Cobb EMC Foundation Board of Directors, the SafeAmerica Foundation has received funds over 3 months.
“We appreciate Cobb EMC and its Foundation for supporting SafeAmerica’s VET Tran program,” noted CEO Len Pagano. “We applaud its leadership for their kindness… and their interest, also, in SafeAmerica uniquely using Ford Mustang Mach E/Vs – for veterans (and teens) to be driven in electric vehicles.”
More ‘good’ is also coming this summer as the Knights of Columbus will be reporting to its leaderships across the State of Georgia. In a conference in Savannah, Knights will also learn how to help raise funds – with a golf tournament this November 20. For interest to ‘play’ this fall, call (770)-973-SAFE. And, you can also attend a June 15 or 16 ‘Spring Symposium’ at the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta – learning how you can be a volunteer for VET Tran, also.
